Use this article to set up TELUS Health eClaims for practitioners in Juvonno. This setup allows you to submit eligible insurance claims for registered practitioners electronically through the integration.
The setup steps are slightly different depending on whether the practitioner works at one clinic location or multiple clinic locations. Before getting started, make sure the practitioner has already been registered and approved with TELUS Health and that you have their TELUS provider details available.

Setting Up TELUS eClaims for Practitioners Working at One Clinic
Use these instructions when the practitioner you're setting up for TELUS Health eClaims only works at one of your clinic locations:
- Go to Settings
- Under Staff, select Practitioners
- Open the relevant practitioner’s profile
- Click the TELUS Health tab
- Enter the corresponding details under Default TELUS Health Provider Settings
- License #: Enter the practitioner’s license number
- CPR Provider #: Enter the practitioner's TELUS Provider ID
- Username: Enter the clinic's TELUS Portal username
- Password: Enter the clinic's TELUS Portal password
- License Issuer: Select the issuing body of the practitioner's license (i.e., the college or association)
- License Type: Select the license type
- Practitioner Type: Select practitioner's discipline

Setting Up TELUS eClaims for Practitioners Working at Multiple Clinics
Use these instructions when the practitioner you're setting up for TELUS Health eClaims works at more than one of your clinic locations:
- Go to Settings

Under Staff, select Practitioners
- Open the practitioner’s profile
- Click the TELUS Health tab
- Leave the Default TELUS Health Provider Settings blank
- Scroll to Clinic Settings
- Enter the corresponding details for each clinic the practitioner works at:
- License #: Enter the practitioner’s license number
- CPR Provider #: Enter the practitioner's TELUS Provider ID
- Username: Enter the clinic's TELUS Portal username
- Password: Enter the clinic's TELUS Portal password
- License Issuer: Select issuing body of the practitioner's license (i.e., the college or association)
- License Type: Select the license type
- Practitioner Type: Select practitioner's discipline

Click Save

Result
- The practitioner profile is configured with the required TELUS information
- You can begin submitting TELUS Health eClaims through Juvonno, though there is often a 7 to 10 day delay before claims can be submitted successfully.
Avoid Common Issues
- Make sure the practitioner has already been approved by TELUS Health before completing the setup in Juvonno.
- Double check that the License Number, CPR Provider Number, and Practitioner Type entered in Juvonno exactly match the information in the TELUS Health Portal. Even small differences can cause claim submission errors.
- If the practitioner works at multiple clinic locations, leave the Default TELUS Health Provider Settings section blank and instead complete the Clinic Settings section for each clinic location.
- If the practitioner holds multiple licenses, make sure all required licenses are added before submitting claims.
- Remember that there may be a short waiting period after setup before claims can be submitted successfully through the integration.
Troubleshooting
I was able to submit claims for a practitioner through Juvonno but now I'm getting an error
- If you've recently updated the clinic's TELUS Health Portal password, make sure the updated password has also been entered in the practitioner's profile in Juvonno.
- Compare the provider details in the TELUS Health Portal with the details entered in Juvonno and confirm that they match exactly.
- If the practitioner works at multiple clinic locations, confirm that the correct credentials and provider details have been entered under each clinic location.
I can submit claims through the TELUS Portal, but not Juvonno
- If setup was recently completed, wait 7 to 10 days and then try submitting a claim, as there can be a delay before the integration becomes fully active.
- If you've recently updated the clinic's TELUS Health Portal password, make sure the updated password has also been entered in the practitioner's profile in Juvonno.
- Compare the provider details in the TELUS Health Portal with the details entered in Juvonno and confirm that they match exactly.
- If the practitioner works at multiple clinic locations, confirm that the correct credentials and provider details have been entered under each clinic location.
Where to Find the Practitioner's TELUS Provider Details
- In the TELUS Health Portal, open your list of Providers
- Locate the relevant practitioner and record the following information:
- License Number
- TELUS Provider ID - this is entered into the Juvonno field labelled CPR Provider #
- License Type
- License Issuer
| Tip: This information must match exactly - including spaces and dashes - between TELUS and Juvonno or claims will fail. |
