Chart Status Details
Below is an overview of possible chart status:
| In Progress |
A chart is saved as In Progress while being edited. Versions are only created after a chart is completed and then edited again. If a completed chart is edited, but not re-completed, it returns to In Progress. Edits can be discarded to revert to the previous version or completed to finalize changes. |
| Completed |
A chart is marked Completed after selecting Complete & Close.
|
| Locked |
Locked charts are secured and cannot be edited. |
Additional Information
- Appointments will only appear in the Charting tab after the client has been marked as Arrived or moved to a later status (such as Completed, Billed, or Paid). This tells the system that the client attended their appointment and that there is charting information to complete.
- The author listed on a chart is the practitioner who last completed it. If changes are made afterward, they are recorded as new versions so it's always clear who made updates.
