Modules let you turn specific Juvonno features on or off, so you can customize your system to fit the way your clinic works.
In this article, you’ll learn how Modules work, where to find them, and what to consider before enabling or disabling a feature.
How It Works
Modules are managed in Settings > General > Modules.
From here, you’ll see a list of available features that can be enabled or disabled for your clinic. Each module controls a specific feature or group of functionality within Juvonno.
Before enabling a module, take a moment to consider whether the feature applies to your clinic and how it may affect your existing workflows.
To access Modules:
- Go to Settings
-
Under System & Company Settings, select General
-
Click Modules
- Review the available modules and their current settings
- Enable or disable a module as needed
- Click Save
Key Behaviours
Modules give you flexibility, but some features can affect other areas of Juvonno. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Enabling a module makes the related feature available in your Juvonno account.
- Disabling a module turns off access to that feature and may affect workflows that rely on it.
- Some modules work together with other Juvonno features, so enabling one may introduce additional options elsewhere in the system.
- Some modules are designed for specific clinic workflows or regions. For example, the Workers Compensation Board (WCB) module is available for clinics in Alberta and Manitoba.
- Some settings can affect what patients are able to do through the Patient Portal. For example, enabling Subscription Restricted Booking can prevent patients without an active subscription from booking appointments through the portal.
If you’re unsure whether a module is right for your clinic, check the related article before enabling it.
What Happens Next
Once you enable a module, the related functionality will become available in the areas of Juvonno where it applies.
Depending on the module, you may need to complete additional setup before you can start using the feature. Some modules also introduce new options, settings, or workflows for your staff.
If you disable a module, its related functionality will no longer be available. Before disabling a module that your clinic currently uses, review any related workflows to make sure you understand the impact.
