Have patients that come in at the same time every week or month? Creating a Recurring Appointment can not only help you save time, but also keep your schedule filled and patients coming back. This article will show you How to Schedule and Cancel Recurring Appointments.
How to Schedule Recurring Appointments
From the appointment booking window, select Yes in the dropdown menu beside Recurring
New fields will appear in the Appointment window. From the Frequency dropdown menu, select how often the appointment is to be booked
Select the Start and End date
Select the Product & Services then Save
Once saved, you will get a Recurring Appointments Statistics report. Under the Appointment Conflicts section, if there is a conflict on a specific date it will be listed and allow you to change the date.
If there are conflicts, proceed to Step 5a
If there are no conflicts, proceed to Step 6
Select the button beside the appointment. From here you can View Appointment, see Other times that day that are available, or Cancel that appointment.
Selecting Other times that day will generate a list of available appointment times for you to select
Under the Appointments, section the appointments will be listed. To make any changes, select the button beside the appointment. From here you can View Appointment, see Other times that day that are available, or Cancel that appointment.
Before exiting the window, you can print a PDF version of the Recurring Appointments Statistics report by selecting Appointment Report
|*Important: Once you close the Recurring Appointment Statistics report, you will not be able to print this report again|
Close the Recurring Appointment Statistics Report, the appointments will be visible on the schedule.
How to Cancel Recurring Appointments
Click on the appointment block and select Cancel
To cancel a single appointment, in the cancellation popup select Cancel Appointment
If you want to cancel all remaining appointments click the checkbox beside Cancel All Remaining Appointments then select Cancel Appointment
The appointment(s) will now be canceled and removed from the schedule.
