Schedule Types are used to set up practitioner availability and ensure only the services offered by the practitioner can be booked. They can also control which products and services can be booked on the Patient Portal per location and per practitioner. Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1
Go to Settings then select Schedule Types under Schedule & Holidays
Step 2
Select New Schedule Type
Step 3
Fill in the fields for the schedule type then Save
Code | Is optional |
Name | Enter the name of the schedule type |
Clinic | Select the clinic location |
Default duration | Select the minimum duration. |
Allowed Conflicts | Select how many conflicts can be scheduled within the same schedule type. |
Background Color | Select the background color. |
Font color | Select the font color. |
Your new schedule type has now been created and can be assigned to a practitioner.
How to Assign Schedule Types to a Practitioner
Step 1
Go to Settings then under Staff select Practitioners
Step 2
Click the Down Arrow to the left of the Practitioners name and select Schedule Types
Step 3
Select the Schedule Type from the left, select Add and it will move to the right side and then Save
The chosen Schedule Types have now successfully been added to the Practitioners Profile.
