Patients earn points when they spend money, and those points can later be redeemed for a small discount on future services.
Enabling the Loyalty Points Program
- Go to Settings
- Under System & Company Settings, select General
- Click Modules
- Scroll to Advanced
- Find Loyalty Points
- Select Enabled
- Click Save
- While still in the General System Settings, go to Accounting
- Scroll to Loyalty Program
- Enter your Redemption Point Value
- This setting controls how much points are worth when they are redeemed
- Loyalty Points Expiry
- Select No if Loyalty Points will not expire
- Select Yes if Loyalty Points will expire
- Expired after # of Days: Enter how many days the loyalty points will expire after
- Click Save
Applying the Loyalty Program to Products & Services
Determine which products & services will be eligible for the Loyalty Program. You choose to set this up by Department, Category or individual Products & Services.
Products & Services Departments
- Select Department if all products and services in the department are eligible for the Loyalty Program (e.g., Services Dept.)
Products & Services Categories
- Select Category if only certain types of products and services within a Department are eligible for the Loyalty Program (e.g., massage services)
Products & Services
- Select specific Products & Services eligible for the Loyalty Program (e.g., 60 minute massages)
Adding the Loyalty Program to a Department or Category:
- Go to Settings
- Under Products & Services, select Products & Services
Open the Department or Category
- Find Loyalty Program and check the box
- Enter the Dollars Per Point
- This setting controls how many points patients get when they spend money
Click Save
Adding Loyalty Program to Specific Products & Services
- Go to Settings
- Under Products & Services, select Products & Services
- Open the applicable product or service
- Find Loyalty Program and the check the box
- Enter in the Dollars Per Point
Click Save
How to Redeem Loyalty Points
To use the points, book an appointment on the schedule using a service that is attached to loyalty points.
After you complete and invoice you can open the patient profile, click on their Loyalty Program tab and you will see the purchases and redemptions with the amount of points.
To apply the points towards a purchase, when completing and invoicing, under Paid By field select Loyalty Points. You will see the Points total and redemption value, the points to redeem and the Payment amount.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and beside the "View Invoice &" select the down arrow and select "New Payment &" .
Then select Apply.
