This week we made some improvements to scheduling, charting, Patient Profile Access, reporting, and billing and compliance workflows. Teams should see fewer manual workarounds when printing and faxing charts, uploading patient documents, and working with intake drafts. We also fixed several issues with encounter status, claim processing, holiday closures, and report values.
What's New
- Easier practitioner access: Additional practitioners can now be added to patient profiles. Default access rules have also been updated so primary and additional practitioners are handled more consistently across patient views and analytics.
- More reliable intake autosave: Intakes now autosave more consistently, including intakes created from templates.
- Easier chart printing and faxing: Individual chart menus now include direct Print to PDF or Fax Chart, making it easier to send or save charts without extra steps.
- More useful reporting: ClinicAid reports now include physician details and CSV output. Patient Insights now includes referral date as an optional field.
- Updated billing and compliance outputs: Billing and compliance outputs have been updated to support current payer and provincial requirements, including OCF-18 wording and Saskatchewan submission date fields.
- Cleaner scheduling API responses: Scheduling API responses now return cleaner appointment lists and conflict-rule information, making them easier to use with portal integrations.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where saving a chart could incorrectly mark an encounter as complete.
- Fixed an issue where TELUS claim and EOB responses could fail to show some returned values.
- Fixed an issue where item cost and margin columns were mapped incorrectly in Comprehensive Sales reports.
- Fixed an issues where practitioner and group names could appear incorrectly in the Notes tab.
- Fixed an issue where recurring statutory holiday clinic closures were not always applied correctly.
We’re excited about these updates and the smoother, more reliable workflows they bring to scheduling, charting, reporting, billing, and day-to-day clinic operations!
