This week we made some improvements to payments, charting, scheduling and reporting workflows. Staff can now manage program appointments more easily, exports include additional appointment details, and chart access is clearer and more consistent. We also made a few admin and profile updates, along with targeted fixes to refunds, charting, and appointment behaviour.
What's New
- Simpler payment setup: Portal pay-online, Apple Pay, and e-gift card checkout now begin payment setup when checkout starts instead of when the page loads.
- Easier program appointment management: Staff can now extend program appointments directly from the schedule menu. Scheduled programs also now sort by their first class date, making them easier to find and manage.
- More detailed appointment exports: Appointment exports now include program attendance, while patient appointment exports now include the appointment end time and duration.
- More customizable patient profiles: Custom-field categories on patient profiles now support category colours and are collapsed by default, making profiles easier to navigate.
- Faster chart access: When opening a chart, the system now defaults to the version with the most recent chart date and time.
- More control over API access: Admins can restrict API key access by user type.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where refunds were not posting when the refund event did not include a payment-intent reference.
- Fixed an issue where charting tab sessions could occasionally open the create-patient flow instead.
- Fixed an issue where charts could appear locked based on the wrong status.
- Fixed an issue where an appointment’s visit type could be overwritten after staff manually selected a different type.
- Fixed an issue where portal email fields could incorrectly appear as password fields.
We’re excited about these updates and the smoother, more reliable workflows they bring to payments, charting, scheduling, and day-to-day operations!
