Practitioner Access controls whether users can view schedules, tasks, and charts belonging to other practitioners.
Clinics often use shared access when:
- practitioners collaborate on patient care
- administrative staff require chart visibility
- teams share scheduling responsibilities
-
supervisors need oversight access
How It Works
Access can be granted:
- through Staff Groups (recommended)
- through Individual Practitioner Access
- for active or inactive practitioners
Group access is easier to maintain for teams, while individual access provides more granular control.
Key Behaviors or Rules
- Access Charts controls chart visibility
- Access Schedules & Tasks controls scheduling visibility
- Copying charts between practitioners requires Individual Practitioner Access
- Users must belong to at least one Staff Group
