Clinic Pricing allows you to set different prices for the same product or service across multiple clinic locations. This is useful if your clinics charge different rates for services or need location-specific pricing. If no clinic-specific price is set, the default retail price will be used.
When to Use This
- Different locations offer services at different rates
- You need to reflect regional pricing differences
Permissions
- Admin or a user role with access to system settings
- Permission to edit Products & Services
Enabling Clinic Pricing
- Go to Settings
- Under System & Company Settings, select General
- Click Accounting
- Navigate to Billing
- Find Clinic Pricing
- Set to Yes
Setting a Clinic-Specific Price
- Go to Settings
- Under Products & Services, select Products & Services
- Open the product or service
- Select the Clinic Prices tab
- Click Override for the clinic you want to update
- Enter the new price
Save your changes
Result
The selected clinic will use the overridden price for the product or service, while other clinics will continue using the default price unless their own override is set.
Avoid Common Issues
- The override price must be lower than the default retail price
- Ensure Clinic Pricing is enabled before attempting to set overrides
- Double-check that you are editing the correct clinic
Troubleshooting
Override option not available
- Confirm that Clinic Pricing is enabled in Billing settings
Price not applying as expected
- If multiple pricing rules exist (such as patient group pricing), the lowest price will always be applied
