How to Log Out an Active User and Free Up a License

If all licenses are currently in use, additional team members will not be able to log in. A Level 2 Administrator can remotely log out an active user to free up a license or remove unauthorized access.

 

Before You Begin

You must have Level 2 Administrator permissions to perform this action. 

 

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Navigate to the Active Users Page

Go to Settings > General > Security > Active Licenses > Active Users Page

Step 2: Select the User

From the User Logged In dropdown, choose the team member you want to log out.

Step 3: Confirm Your Password 

Enter your password in the Confirm Password field to authorize this action. 

 

Step 4: Click Logout 

Select Logout to sign the user out immediately. Their license will become available for another team member to use.
