1. Surgical Assistants - Entering Tariffs

Type-to-search a tariff (without the prefix).
Select the correct tariff from the drop-down options.
Select the Assistant check-box.
The pop-up defaults the prefix to '0' (for Assistants).
Manually enter the Base Fee (total) and select OK.
Enter the ICD-9 Code (if applicable)
Finally, select the "Add" button.

2.  Entering Tariffs

Type-to-search a tariff (without the prefix).
Select the correct tariff from the drop-down options.
Enter a start and end time (when applicable).
Select the "First Anesthetists" from the drop-down menu
The tariff will have its prefix adjusted to 4.
If the tariff is time-based, the start/end time will auto-calculate by 15min increments.
Enter the ICD-9 Code (if applicable)  
Finally, select the "Add" button.

3. Anesthesia Modifiers Tariffs

Type-to-search a tariff (without the prefix).
Select the correct tariff from the drop-down options.
Then select the 'Add' button.

4. Time Fee Rounding

Juvonno will automatically round up time fee counts based on the start/end time. 
i.e. A start and end time of 08:00 to 08:35 will calculate as 3 time units.

5. Oncall Tariffs

Type-to-search a tariff (without the prefix).
Select the correct tariff from the drop-down options.     
Do not edit the prefix as it must be left as it's default (7).
Enter the total quantity based on either 15min/60min intervals of the start/end time.
Enter the ICD-9 Code (if applicable) 
Then select the 'Add' button.

6. Multi-day Claims

(Overnight or more than 1 day.)
Please create 2 claims if you are working for more than 1 day.
Enter the Tariff. Select from the drop-down options.
Enter the Start and End time.
Enter the ICD-9 Code (if applicable)
Select Add.

Start and end Time when working overnight (Multi-day)

When creating claims working overnight, you will create 2 claims, 1 on each day.

Example:

First claim -  Appointment Date April 1, 2020 - End time will be 2400.

Second claim - Appointment Date April 2, 2020 - Start time will be 0001.

7. ICD-9 Code Fields

The ICD-9 code field under "Appointment Details" will default the ICD-9 code on Tariffs for the claim.

If you need to specify a different code for an individual tariff, enter it here.The type-to-search ICD Codes will display a maximum of 10 results, so please continue to specify the code's description to filter the results when necessary.

8. Tariffs that do not require a Start/End time or an ICD Code

If you come across any Tariffs or ICD Codes that are not required, please send the Tariff code or ICD code to me directly so that I can make the adjustments in the system.

9. Claim Type

As per Manitoba Health, this field should be left as 'blank' and has been defaulted to this selection. Please only adjust this field if you are confident in your choice.

 

10. Premium Tariffs

Adding a premium tariff will attach premium fields to the claim's tariffs:

It will auto-calculate the premium units based on the applicable 15min intervals with time-based tariffs, and quantity with regular tariffs. You are able to override the count if necessary and enter in another amount or remove a tariff from being considered premium, by setting the Premium field to 'No'.
