Report: Patient Drop-Off

Keep track of which patients are at risk of dropping off using the Patient Drop-Off report. This report will help you determine which drop-off stage a patient is in helping you take the appropriate action to prevent them from completely dropping off.

 

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Start by navigating to Reports, then under Statistics, select Patient Drop-Off



Step 2

Select the Practitioner, Clinic, and set the Start Date and End Date

Patient

Enter a specific patient name or leave blank for all

Practitioner


Filter results by practitioner or leave as all

Clinic
Filter the results based per clinic or leave as all

Start/End Date
Enter the date range for the report

Include Discharged Patients

Check this on to include discharged patients

Include Patients with Upcoming Appointments

Check this to include Patients that have upcoming appointments scheduled

Output

Select Either MS Excel or PDF reports

 

Step 3

Select the Output from the dropdown menu then select Create

PDF

Downloads a viewable PDF with Basic Data

(Same as MS Excel)

MS Excel

Downloads a .xlsx file with the following categories: Patient, Patient #, Telephone, Email, Practitioner, # Visits, First Date Treated, Last Date Treated
MS Excel - Detailed Downloads a .xlsx file with all the data from the MS Excel list with these additional categories: Patient Group, First Practitioner, Other Practitioners Seen, Last Invoiced Item, Total Invoiced

 

Tip: Sort the # of Visits field in Excel by highlighting the Column, selecting Sort & Filter then Sort Smallest to Largest to see how many patients are dropping off after a certain number of visits

  • Name (of Patient)
  • Phone Number (Set as Default)
  • Email Address
  • Group Type (of Patient)
  • Default Clinic (of Patient)
  • Treatment Completed (To Date)
  • First Practitioner (Seen by the Patient)
  • Referral Source
  • Family Physician (General Practitioner)
  • Clinic (Based on Patient Appointments)
  • Date Created (Patient Added into System)
  • First Appointment Created (User which scheduled the first appointment)
Note: If Only Include this Clinic's visits is unchecked, the report considers all patient visits, even if the patient primarily belongs to one clinic but has seen practitioners in other clinic locations. To focus on visits within this clinic, ensure the checkbox is selected.
