How to Create a QR Code for Patient Arrival Self Check-in

Allow your patients to self check-in upon arrival by scanning a QR Code. This article will walk you through How to Create a QR Code for Patient Arrival Self Check-in

 

Note: The patient must be booked on the schedule for the current day or they will not be able to check in.

 

 

Step 1: Activate the Module

Navigate to Settings>General>Modules>Advanced>Patient Arrivals field and set it to Enabled then Save

Note: If you don't have access to this setting, please contact your Clinic Administrator

 

Step 2: Enabling Reception Check-in

After saving, select Scheduling, then under Patient Arrivals, set Reception CheckIn to Enabled and Save

 

Step 3: Copy Link

Under the same section, Copy the Link 

 

Step 4: Create your QR Code

Navigate to Settings > Clinics > Clinic Name > QR Code and select Single Link. Paste the link into the Single Link field and Download

 

Conclusion

You will now have a QR code that you can add to an in-clinic poster or signage to display at your front desk.

The Patient Experience

When your patient scans the QR code, they'll select Reception

 
Then enter their name into the field and select it.

 

They will then see a confirmation page

And the appointment block will show the patient as Arrived.
