How to Connect Online Booking & the Patient Portal to Your Website

  • Updated

Make it easy for your patients to book appointments or access their profiles online by connecting Online Booking and the Patient Portal to your website. This article explains how to find and use your organization’s Online Booking and Patient Portal links, including options for organization-wide, clinic-specific, and practitioner-specific booking. We recommend linking both your Online Booking and Patient Portal as two separate buttons on your website.

  • Online Booking: For patients to book appointments (new or existing)
  • Patient Portal: For patients to manage their profile, forms, and invoices

Online Public Booking Options

Organization-Wide Booking Link

If your organization has multiple clinics and you want patients to choose their clinic at the start of the booking process:

Use this link format:

https://[your-subdomain].juvonno.com/portal/publicbook.php

NOTE: Replace [your-subdomain] with the first part of your clinic’s Juvonno URL (e.g., myclinic.juvonno.com).

Example:
If your Juvonno login URL is https://myclinic.juvonno.com, your organization-wide booking link will be: https://myclinic.juvonno.com/portal/publicbook.php

Clinic-Specific Booking Link

If you’d like each clinic location to have its own booking link (so the location is auto-selected), find your clinic-specific booking link here:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Under System & Company Settings, select Clinics
  3. Open the Clinic Profile
  4. Copy the Public Appt Booking URL
  5. Add this link to that clinic’s page on your website

This is best for: multi-location websites where each clinic has its own “Book Now” button or page.

Practitioner-Specific Booking Link

If your website includes individual practitioner bio pages, you can link directly to each practitioner’s booking page.

To find a practitioner-specific booking link:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Under Staff, select Practitioners
  3. Open the practitioner’s profile
  4. Click the QR Code tab
  5. Click My Booking Page to generate their specific booking link

This is best for: websites featuring “Book with [Practitioner Name]” buttons.

Private Online Booking (Existing Patients Only)

If you prefer that only existing patients can book online:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Under System & Company Settings, select General
  3. Click Portal
  4. Navigate to General
  5. Scroll down to locate the Portal Login URL
  6. Add this URL to your website (e.g., behind a button labeled “Existing Patients Book Here”)

This ensures that only patients with an existing Juvonno profile can book appointments online.

Patient Portal Access

Provide a dedicated Patient Portal Login button or link on your website so patients can:

  • Log in to their account
  • Update personal or insurance details
  • Complete intake forms
  • Access treatment notes or uploaded documents
  • View or pay invoices
  • Book appointments (if enabled in your Portal settings)

To find your Portal link:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Under System & Company Settings, select General
  3. Click Portal
  4. Navigate to General
  5. Find and copy the Portal Login URL to add to your website

Example:
If your Juvonno login URL is https://myclinic.juvonno.com, your Patient Portal login link will be: https://myclinic.juvonno.com/plogin.php

Adding the Links to Your Website

Once you’ve copied the correct link, add it to a button or link on your website (your web admin or designer can do this in your website builder).

Recommended button placements:

  • Header or navigation bar (visible on all pages)
  • Footer (visible on all pages)
  • Homepage (“Book Now” or “Patient Portal”)
  • The “About Us” page
  • Services or practitioner pages

Best practices:

  • Use clear, distinct button labels:
    • e.g., “Book Online” or “Book Now”
    • e.g., “Patient Portal Login” or “Existing Patients”
  • Don’t overload your site - a few well-placed buttons work best
TIP: Always display both buttons, one for Online Booking and one for Patient Portal Login, to make navigation simple for both new and existing patients.
