How to Customize the Quick Patient Creation Fields

Quick Patient Creation allows you to build new Patient Profiles on the fly with basic information while scheduling an appointment with a new patient This article will walk you through How to Customize the Quick Patient Creation Fields.

 

Step 1: Open System Settings

Go to Settings then select General under System & Company Settings

 

Step 2: Find Quick Patient Creation

Select Patients then scroll down to the Quick Patient Creation section

 

Step 3: Customize Your Settings

From here you can customize which fields appear in the quick creation menu and which are required simply by selecting Yes or No from the associated dropdown menu then Save

Tip: We recommend keeping mandatory fields to a minimum and sending the Patient Welcome Packet to have new patients complete their profiles on their own. 

 

Conclusion

The Quick Patient Creation will now only display the fields you have selected to be displayed
