This guide walks you through the first part of setting up HCAI integration, including enabling Practice Management System (PMS) integration in HCAI and entering the required credentials in your system. Proper setup ensures successful communication between HCAI and your clinic.

What You Need
- Your HCAI login
Permissions
- Level 2 Administrator access
Setting Up the HCAI Integration
Enable PMS integration in HCAI

Log in to the HCAI portal
- Navigate to Manage
- Select Facility Management
- Locate Practice Management System Integration
- Set this option to Yes
Enter PMS Details in HCAI
- Enter the following:

PMS Vendor: GlobalOffice (no spaces)

PMS Vendor: GlobalOffice (no spaces)

PMS User Name
- Must be unique for each clinic
- Do not use spaces or special characters
- Create a new username specifically for this integration
- Click Save
Tip: If you already created a password, you'll see Reset Password instead of Save - Select Reset Password.
Important
Ensure the following values match exactly between HCAI and your system:
- PMS Username
- Password
- HCAI Facility Registry

FSCO Licence Number
Enter HCAI Details in Clinic Settings
- In your system, go to Settings
- Under System & Company Settings, select Clinics
- Open the clinic you're setting up
- Navigate to the HCAI section

Enter the following:
- FSCO #
- Facility ID (i.e., HCAI Facility Registry Number)
- Username (i.e., PMS User Name)
- Password
- Click Save
Configure HCAI Module Settings
- Go to Accounting

Under Health Claims for Auto Insurance, select Module Settings
- Enter the following:
- Facility ID
- Username (i.e., PMS User Name)
- Password
- Confirm Password

Click Save
Tip: After saving, password fields will appear blank for security purposes.
Final HCAI Portal Check
- In the HCAI portal, go to Facility Management
- Ensure the following:
- Check Payable To field is completed

Payee Field Editable on Invoices set to No
Result
- HCAI integration is enabled and connected to your system
- Clinic credentials are configured for claim submission
- You are ready to proceed with practitioner setup
Avoid Common Issues
- Entering mismatched credentials between HCAI and Juvonno
- Using spaces or special characters in the PMS User Name
- Forgetting to reset or update the PMS password in HCAI
- Entering incorrect Facility ID or FSCO number
- Not completing required fields in the HCAI portal (e.g., "Check Payable To")
Troubleshooting
Unable to connect to HCAI
- Verify PMS Integration is enabled in HCAI
- Confirm all credentials match exactly between systems
- Ensure the password was properly reset and entered
Authentication errors
- Double-check PMS Username and Password
- Re-enter credentials in both Clinic Settings and Module Settings
Claims cannot be submitted
- Confirm Facility ID and FSCO number are correct
- Ensure required HCAI portal settings are configured
