How does the Transactions Tab work?

Transactions lists daily sales and payments applied

Using the clinic filter, gain access to any completed invoices and payments applied for the present day, specific to the location. Other functions include viewing, paying, and voiding, change payment type, void and refund invoices or submitting them directly to Telus Health eClaims if this is an insurance submission and it is with a Telus insurer.

Today's Sales lists all invoiced appointments from the present day.

Learn more about the individual fields

 

View Invoice

Displays the invoice with print or download functionality.

Submit via TELUS Health eClaims

Attempts to bill the invoice directly to TELUS, as long as
the clinic location is correctly set up.

View Payments

You can view payments and change the payment type.

Pay Invoice

Displays the 'Recieve a Payment' window.

Open Patient Profile

Directs the user to the Patient Profile the invoice applies to.

Fax Invoice

If the Fax module is enabled for the clinic, this link will fax
the invoice electronically.

Void

Displays the 'Void Invoice' window.


Today's Payments lists all payments received from the present day.

View Invoice Payments*

Displays the Payments & Adjustments window with further
actions to add a new payment, adjust the payment method
(i.e. Swap Amex to Visa) or delete/void the payment itself.

View Invoice

Displays the corresponding invoice with print or download functionality.

Open Patient Profile

Directs the user to the Patient Profile the invoice applies to.

Note

 Voided payments remain stored in the Patient Profile, History, Payment tab.

 

A copy of the voided payment will be sent to the email address you entered in the System Settings if you completed the setting.

 

Tip If in a multi-location setting, filter the transactions by clinic using the drop-down menu found on the top-right of the page.
