How to Add a Practitioner Profile Picture and Signature

Add a profile picture and signature to a practitioner's profile to personalize their account and ensure their signature is available throughout the system. Adding a Signature

A practitioner's signature may be used on patient invoices and in other areas of the system, including charts, prescriptions, and letters.

For the best results, we recommend creating a digital image of the practitioner's signature using the following process:

  1. Have the practitioner sign a blank white piece of paper using black ink.
  2. Scan the signed paper and save it as a PDF on your computer.
  3. Use a screen capture tool, such as Snipping Tool or Snagit, to crop the signature from the scanned document.
  4. Save the cropped signature as a JPEG (.jpg) or PNG (.png) file.
  5. In Juvonno, under Profile Picture & Signature, click Choose File next to Upload Signature

  1. Select the saved signature file from your device.
  2. Click Save & Exit to save your changes

💡Tip: Using a scanned and cropped signature creates a clean image that blends seamlessly into documentation. Taking a photo of the signature can make it appear more like a photograph than a signature.

Result

  • The practitioner's profile will be updated with the new picture and signature.
  • The practitioner's signature will be available for use on invoices and other applicable documentation throughout the system.
  • The practitioner's profile picture will be available for display in the Patient Portal and Team Chat.

Things to Know

  • Profile pictures and signatures must be uploaded as JPEG or PNG files.
  • A clean, cropped signature image provides the best appearance on documentation.
  • The profile picture and signature are added to the individual practitioner's profile.

Troubleshooting

My image won't upload.

Make sure the file is saved as a JPEG (.jpg) or PNG (.png) file. If the file is in another format, convert or save it as one of the supported file types before uploading.

The signature looks like a photograph on my documents.

For the best result, scan the practitioner's signature on white paper and crop the signature from the scanned document. Avoid taking a photo of the signed paper, as this can make the signature appear like a photograph.

The profile picture or signature isn't appearing after I upload it.

Make sure you click Save after uploading the file. Then, refresh the relevant area of the system to view the updated image.
