How to Change and Reset Passwords

You can change your own password from your profile, or an administrator can update the password for another user. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it from the login page using the email address associated with your profile.

 

When to Use This 

Use this guide when you need to:

  • Change your own password
  • Change another user's password as an administrator
  • Reset a forgotten password

 

Permissions

  • Users can change their own password
  • Administrators can change passwords for other users
  • Password resets require a valid email address on the user's profile

Contact your clinic administrator if you do not have the required access. 

 

Changing Your Own Password

  1. Open your Profile 

 

 

  1. Go to the Login tab
  2. Enter a New Password 
  3. Re-enter the same password in Verify Password 
  4. Click Save & Exit

 

 

Changing a Password for Another User

Administrators can update the password for other users: 

  1. Go to Settings 
  2. Under Staff, select Administrators, Practitioners or Employees based on the user's profile type 

 

 

  1. Open the relevant user's profile 

  2. Go to the Login tab 

  3. Enter a New Password 
  4. Re-enter the same password in Verify Password 
  5. Click Save & Exit

 

 

Forgot Your Password

⚠️Your profile must contain a valid email address to use this feature 

  1. Go to the login page 
  2. Click Reset Password

 

 

  1. Type your Username/Email Address 

  2. Check I'm not a robot

  3. Click Send 

 

 

  1. You will receive an email with instructions for resetting your password

     

  1. Open the email 
  2. Click Reset Your Password

 

 

  1. Enter a New Password
  2. Enter the same password in Confirm Password 
  3. Click Reset Password 

     

 

Result 

Your password will be updated successfully, or, if you used the forgotten-password process, you will be able to sign in using your newly reset password.

 

Things to Know 

  • Your profile must have a valid email address to reset a forgotten password
  • Administrators can change passwords for users based on permissions in their User Type
