How to Schedule a Juvonno Telehealth Appointment

Juvonno Telehealth allows you to securely launch and join video appointments directly within the system, without third-party apps. This article explains how to schedule a Juvonno Telehealth appointment. 

 

What You Need

  • Juvonno Telehealth and Telehealth modules must be enabled 

 

Permissions 

  • Access to scheduling and patients 

Contact your clinic administrator if you do not have the required access. 

 

Scheduling a Juvonno Telehealth Appointment

To book a Juvonno Telehealth appointment: 

  1. Go to the schedule 
  2. Navigate to the desired appointment date
  3. Find the practitioner's schedule 
  4. Click the desired appointment time 

 

 

  1. The Appointment window will open
  2. Add the Patient 
  3. Find Visit Type and select Telehealth - Juvonno 
  4. Add your Item # 
  5. Save the appointment 

 

 

Result 

  • The Juvonno Telehealth appointment is successfully created and appears on the schedule with diagonal lines through the appointment block.

 

 

  • If appointment reminders are enabled and the patient is subscribed, they will receive a link to join their session in their reminder message.

 

Telehealth

 

  • A session link is automatically sent to the patient 10 minutes before the appointment. (Note: links sent at the 10-minute mark are not recorded in patient correspondence.)
  • If needed, you can manually resend the session link using the Send Session Email option

 

 

Avoid Common Issues 

  • Make sure the Juvonno Telehealth and Telehealth modules are enabled in the General System Settings 
  • Select Telehealth - Juvonno from the Visit Type drop-down menu when creating the appointment 
  • Ensure the patient is booked with the correct practitioner 

 

Troubleshooting 

I don’t see the “Telehealth - Juvonno” in the Visit Type options 

  • Confirm that the Juvonno Telehealth and Telehealth modules have been enabled for your organization

The appointment does not show diagonal lines (telehealth indicator)  

  • The appointment has not been scheduled as a telehealth appointment. Edit the appointment and set the Visit Type to Telehealth - Juvonno  

The patient did not automatically receive a session link after the appointment was created 

  • This is expected behaviour. The session link is not sent at the time of booking. The link is included in the patient's appointment reminder, and will also be emailed approximately 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment time
