  ⇆  Two-Factor Authentication





An extra layer of security if you want it. Enabled in your profile login tab.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) can be used to help protect your account from unauthorized access by requiring you to enter an additional code when you log in.

This feature requires the use of an authenticator app, downloaded free to your mobile.

  ⇆  Password Policy Updates





Keep your logins secure and your system protected.
To enhance your system's security, you will be required to update your password.

There are 5 attempts allowed before the account is locked for 30mins.
A Level 2 Admin account can unblock in the user's Profile > Login Tab.

Note: Our password-hashing function is now updated to Bcrypt.
Bcrypt has been available for the last 30 years and has handled significant scrutiny by the information security/cryptography community. It has proven reliable and secure.


  

 

 

  ⇆  Patient Portal Payment Gateway





Require a credit card on file to schedule appointments.

Enable this in Settings > General > Portal > Scheduling > Requires Credit Card entry

 This setting relies on a Payment Gateway integration such as Stripe or Moneris.



 

  ⇆  Patient-Specific Tax Override




 
Set your patients up according to their tax needs, individually.

Note: This rate will override the patient group's pricing when lower in cost.
