An Overview of JComm's Patient Two-Way Texting Feature

How It Works

JComm's Two-Way Texting feature allows you to send and receive text messages directly from Juvonno. This provides a fast, efficient, and reliable way to send timely information to patients, enhancing their experience. Two-way texting is included in every JComm subscription.

Step 1: Accessing Two-Way Texting

Click the chat bubbles icon at the top right of your screen to open Two-Way Texting. This window allows you to manage your text message conversations with patients. 

Note: System administrators can allow or deny access to Two-Way Texting based on user type or role. 

 

Step 2: Locate the Patient

From within your patient list, click on a Patient's name or use the search bar to find a patient and open a conversation window.

Step 3: Texting Patients

Inside the conversation window, you can:

  • View all previous incoming and outgoing text messages with that patient
  • Enter a text reply at the bottom of the window
  • Open the Appointment Lookup menu to gather appointment details

 

Important Notes

  • A third-party integration service designates the phone number used to send/receive text messages when your system is initially created. This number is unique to your Juvonno system.
  • Both outgoing and incoming text messages count toward your messages allotted per month according to your JComm plan
  • Tip! Send yourself a sample message from JComm to see the unique number assigned to your clinic.

What are the costs?

Two-way texting is a paid feature that is part of the JComm In-App Messaging Add-On. You can pay for your JComm subscription monthly and cancel at any time. Subscriptions start at $20 per month ($0.025 per text message sent or received), with messaging rates decreasing based on message volume.
