Which Insurance fields are required to Submit to Telus? Doctor note required.

When adding a Telus-enabled insurance profile for a patient, the insurance company selected will require certain fields for invoice submissions to be successful.

Note:

The insurance card may state Group # or Contract # for certain insurers listed above, but these values must be entered in the corresponding required fields to be submitted through to Telus.

 

i.e. Group or Contract or Firm = Policy #    ID or Member Certificate = Certificate #

 

Doctor Note Required:

In the System Contacts make sure you have the "Referring Practitioner" name entered. 

In the patient profile, under the Contacts section add the referring practitioner to the "Referred By" field.

In the patient insurance record in the Policy Details section select the checkbox beside Dr. Rx required and/or Dr. Note required.
