Below is a short list of set up to get your Patient Portal set up with basic features.
TIP: We suggest you set up one of your test patients in the portal or create a new patient by registering in the portal so that you know the process the patient goes through and exactly what they see so that you can modify what you them to have access to and edit your custom content.
1. System Settings should be activated first.
a. Settings, General, System, Portal, General Section, Enabled field - set to Yes.
- When this field is Enabled the portal link will appear in the patient reminders and notifications. We suggest you toggle this on and off while setting up your portal and only leave it set to Enabled when you have completely finished setting up the portal and are ready to go live with it.
- When this field is activated you will be able to access your patient portal from your Juvonno Log in Page using the "Take me there" link.
2. Settings, Clinics, Open the clinic item, set clinic to show in the portal.
Settings, General, System, Portal, Messages section.
Add custom content to describe your clinic, services etc.
Settings, Schedule Types.
These must be set up based on the Practitioners and what services they will be showing in the patient portal. Schedule types are linked to the Practitioner and the Product & Services that will be booked in the portal.
Products & Services
Settings, Products & Services. Open each item that will be available in the portal and assign "Schedule Type" to allow the item to be booked in the portal.
Open the Practitioner Profile, Profile Tab, Can Be Booked in Patient Portal field - Yes.
Settings, General, System, Scheduling, Appointment Emails Section. Booked in the Portal. Select which of the 3 items you want to receive notifications for.
Book an Appointment link on your Website
Settings, General, Sytem, Portal, General Section - Portal Login URL.
You will provide this Portal URL to your website designer to create a "Book an Appointment" link on your website directly clients to the online booking portal.
If you are using Programs and would like them to be viewed in the Portal, turn that option on.
Go to Settings, General, System, Portal, Toolbar section, Programs field - Visible.
When creating the program you will also have an option to show it in the portal.
