How do I change a Rejected claim status back to New?
From the Home page go to the "Appointment Claims" link.
Set the date range based on the remittance dates.
Set the status field to "Rejected".
Click the icon to the left of the claim item. Select "Update" Status option.
Next to the "New Status" field select "Receivable (New").
This puts the claim back to "New" and will be submitted again in the next submission.
What does a payment like this -$16.55 indicate?
After a remittance has been parsed and you go to the "Appointment Claims" link
and set the "Status" field to "Paid", you may find some items with a negative amount.
You can contact Manitoba Health directly to find out more details about the claim or you can click the icon to the left of the item and view the "Billing Details" and "View Payments" option. In some cases, you will find the tariff amount paid by MB Health may be slightly higher or lower than what was submitted.
Where do I locate the EOB?
Open the claim. The EOB is located in the bottom right corner of the claim under EOB/Disposal Codes.
How do I locate a Microfilm number on a claim?
Microfilm numbers appear within the Submission Details of claims that have been responded to.
Where can I find a list of ICD Codes?
When creating a claim, in the ICD Code field, when you enter some text you will get a list of up to 6 options to select from. If you require a list of codes you can check the list at using the link below.
