How to Add, Edit and Remove Aways
Aways are added to the schedule to remove a practitioner's availability for a set duration of time. If the practitioner is running late, in a meeting, on a break or any other last-minute reason to be off the schedule, using this feature is the ideal method.
|
Note: If you create an Away on the wrong date, be sure to first remove it instead of editing the date. When changing the date, the system will create another Away rather than replace the original. |
How to Add an Away
On the schedule, select next to the practitioner's name and choose New Away.
The Scheduling / Away window will display.

|
Note: If you schedule an Away for several days and want it removed, keep in mind that all dates originally set by the Away are linked and will be removed together. |
|
Note: Depending on User Type settings, staff are allowed or restricted from creating aways. |
