Settings : Patient Import

You are able to do a Patient Import into Juvonno.

First, go to Settings, Imports Section, Patients.


The next page takes you to a list of "Required" and optional fields. Items highlighted in green must be populated on your CSV file for importing or you will receive errors. The other items on the list are optional, you can check the check box if you will be importing data into these fields.



In the bottom left-hand corner, click on the [Get Import Template] button.  This report will create a template based on the Required fields and those you have selected with a check box. 

You can manually imput the patient details into these fields or you can relabel the export document you may have received from another clinic management system.  But, please ensure the columns and data is formatted exactly as laid out in the sample spreadsheet below.



A Microsoft Excel file will download.


Format the data into the correct fields. Be sure to note the formatting DOB, Discharge & Create date fields must be Year/M/Day. Be sure to have data in the required fields. Ensure the file once finalized is saved as a CSV file.

Status Options: Active, Inactive, Discharged, Default Active

When you are ready to do the import your file, go back to Settings, Import Section, Patient Import page in Juvonno, select if the file contains a header row.



Select the check boxes beside the optional items you have on your spreadsheet for importing.

Select "Choose File" and locate the file on your computer for uploading.



Finalize the import by selecting the upload button in the bottom right-hand corner.

The import will begin.  Do not exit from the page, allow the import to run.  Depending on how much data it could take several minutes.

If there are errors you will get receive an error report. 

This error report cannot be printed. You can take a screen shot and save it to print.


- If you are performing an import that creates errors within your system and the data does not match or there are any importing issues that require a developer to reverse the import there will be a charge of $150.00 per hour.

- Please do not do an import during regular business hours.  We suggest you do the import in the evening or on a weekend.

- If you have existing patients in your system and perform a patient import the import will override information you already have for that patient.  You may also get duplicate patient profiles that you can later merge.
