How Customize Practitioners Availability in the Patient Portal

If you wish to only have select appointment times available to booking via the Patient Portal, you can customize a practitioner's Portal Availability. This article will walk you through How Customize Practitioners Availability in the Patient Portal.

 

 

Step 1: Find in Settings

Go to Settings then Practitioners

 

Step 2: Practitioner Profile

Open the Practitioner Profile  

 

Then select the Availability Tab 

 

Step 3: Edit Availability

Select the button beside their availability then select Edit

Step 4: Customize Portal Availability

Under Schedule Availability, select Customize Portal Availability

Step 5: Select Availability and Save

Using the availability blocks, select the times you'd like made available in the Patient Portal then select Save.

 

In this example, only the highlighted times would be shown on the Portal if it is not booked by a patient.

Important: The light colors will show in the in clinic schedule. The darker colors indicate the times that are available in the portal if they are not already booked. For days off, select a time outside of the practitioners availability or the entire entire day will be available to be booked.

 

Conclusion

The practitioner will now only be available on the Patient Portal at the specified times
