The second drop-down menu will display settings to choose from and further refine the search. Each filter has its own unique settings, so be sure to review the options provided.

When selecting Equals, a third menu with a drop-down menu will display. For example, selecting Patient Group as the Filter and Equals as the setting will provide the third menu with created patient groups selectable from a drop-down.

You can continue to add more filters to the search to further refine the list of patients.

TIP: Use the Filter Email Address, the setting Greater Than and leave the final field blank to include only patients with email addresses.

Using these filters in the example above, will provide a list of Active patients that are set to the Patient Group EHB, with their Default Clinic set as Dunder Mifflin, and had their Last Appointment as of 30 days ago or more.

Exporting your Advanced Search

After selecting the Search button a list of patients within those search results will display.

On the right side of the page, you can export the results to:

  • Printable Labels
  • Export to PDF
  • Export to Microsoft Excel
  • Export to CSV

TIP: Export to Excel or CSV to have the ability to sort, add or remove columns and rows. Many patient profile details will display on these exports. The PDF will provide limited patient information.

Patient Email List

Use the Filter Email Address, the setting Greater Than and leave the final field blank to include only patients with email addresses within the found results.

Get creative with adding more filters to obtain an email list of patients by gender, age, last appointment, and/or any others that will provide your optimal results.

Last Appointment Filter

Find patients that have not visited the clinic recently.

Use the As of option to find patients that last had an appointment 14, 30, 60, 90 or 120 days ago or more as of the present date, or use the Within option to find patients that last had an appointment under 14,30,60,90 or 120 days ago.

Customize the results further by using a combination of two Last Appointment filters, one As of and another Within to get results specific to a date range.

Note: Last Appointments refer to those that are Open, Arrived, Completed or Billed.
