How to Manage Patient Portal Emails and Notifications

Use Appointment Email Notifications to automatically send reminders about new appointments and cancellations booked in the portal.

Go to Settings > General > System > Scheduling > Appointment Email Section

 

 

 

Setting Explanations

 

Clinic Notifications

If this is enabled, then when a practitioner is set to receive an email from an appointment booked in the portal (booking or cancellation), the email address set for the corresponding clinic will also receive a copy of that email

 

Practitioner Booking Notifications

This enables the system to email a notification to the scheduled practitioners when a patient books an appointment through the portal and within the selected time period.

 

Practitioner Cancellation Notifications

This enables the system to email a notification to the scheduled practitioners when a patient cancels an appointment through the portal and within the selected time period.
