From the Settings tab:
- Taxes should be set up first under Settings, General, System, Accounting, Tax Section.
- Products Departments will be set up next under Settings, Products & Services section, Product Departments.
- Product Categories are then set up. Go to Settings, General, System, Products & Services section, Product Categories. Set up categories according to insurance coverage eg. Massage, Chiropractic, Physiotherapy etc. This allows you to allocate different percentages of coverage per category and create reports.
- Products & Services - Go to Settings, General, System, Products & Services section, Products & Services. These are set up last.
- Gift Cards are set up using the with the prebuilt Gift Card Category. This category cannot be deleted.
