How to Fax using Faxage (Legacy Integration)

This is a paid add-on that is available for $20.00 per month.  To have this feature turned on, please contact your Sales Representative.

The following items must be set before you can use the Fax feature:

1. Patients: In order for a patient to receive a fax the fax field in their profile must have a valid fax number.

2. Contacts: All Practitioners, Doctors, Lawyers, vendors etc. must have a valid fax number set up under their information.

3. Vendors: If you are sending to a vendor the fax number must be entered under the fax field in their details.

TIP: The fax log is found under the Home page>Communication>Fax Log.

4. The Fax option must be enabled by Juvonno.  Settings>General>Fax.

5. Ensure the fax number is entered in the correct format (xxx) xxx-xxxx.  If you're editing the field scroll to the bottom of the page and Save.

6. Go to Settings>Clinics. Enter the clinic fax number using the correct format (xxx) xxx-xxxx.

7. Go to Settings>General>Company. Input the Fax number then "Save".

8. Go to Settings>General>Fax. Enter the fax number using the correct format (xxx) xxx-xxxx.


Documents


1. Go to the patient's profile and click the "Documents" link.

2. Click the arrow to the left of the document you want to fax and select "Fax Document".

3. Complete the details on the pop-up. Enter the fax number you are sending to.

4. Select "Send Fax".

 

Letters

1. Go to the patient's profile and click the "Documents" link.

2. Click the arrow to the left of the letter you want to fax and select "Fax Document".

3. The Fax Cover page will pop up. Enter the fax number you are sending to etc. 

4. Select "Send Fax".

Prescriptions


Optometry and medical prescriptions can be faxed.

1. Go to the patient's profile and click the Prescriptions link.

2. Select the Eyeglass Rx or the medical prescription and complete the details on the pop-up fax form.

3. Enter the fax number you are sending to, then click "Send Fax".


Charts


1. Go to the patient's profile and select Charts.

2. Click the down arrow located beside the "Add" button located in the top right corner of the page and select Export to PDF.

3. Select the charts you want to fax the click "Send As Fax".

4. Complete the details of the fax form, entering the fax number you are sending to then hit "Send Fax".


Invoices


1. Go to the Accounting tab and click the "Invoice Search" link.

2. Enter the parameters you want to search with for the invoice you want to fax.

3. Hover over the invoice you want to fax and select Fax Invoice.

4. Complete the details on the fax form, entering the fax number you are sending to then hit "Send Fax".
