Take the time to read through the portal settings and configuration as they are a branded extension of your clinic allows you to automate processes throughout your clinic!
Overview
Before a Clinic can be Booked In the Portal
Before a clinic can be booked in the patient portal you will have to adjust the clinic settings to show the clinic available.
Steps
Go to Settings > System & Company Settings Section > Clinics.
Open the Clinic(s) you would like to have booked through the portal.
Book in Portal field: Set this to Yes, then click on Save.

Allow Public Signup |
This option allows a patient that has not been to your clinic before booking an appointment and create a patient profile. This option is only available when the portal is enabled. |
Add/View Medical Profile | This option allows the patient to log into the portal and add their medical profile and records that have been set such as medical history, nutrition, physical profile allergies and more. |
Mandatory General Practitioner |
In order for a patient to complete their profile, they must enter a general practitioner name. They will not be able to finish or book appointments without this field filled. This is strictly optional. |
Mandatory Date of Birth |
In order for a patient to complete their profile, they must enter a date of birth. |
Mandatory Gender |
In order for a patient to complete their profile, they must select their gender from the drop-down. |
Intake Form Complete Notification |
This option sends an email to the patient's clinic when they complete or update an Intake Form on the Portal. |
Portal Signup Notification |
This option sends an email to the default clinic email address when a new patient signs up. |
Portal Login URL |
The URL which patients can log in to your Juvonno portal. To be embedded within 'book appointment' links on the website and social media. |
Scheduling - Portal Settings
Slot Availability |
Is the portal (turned on - enabled) or (turned off - disabled) If you want to select specific times the practitioner is available in the portal set this to Yes. There is a further described below under the Availability Tab section. |
Public Appointment Booking |
This option shows a Book an Appointment button on the portal before a patient logs in using their Username and Password. |
Auto-Accept Portal Appointments |
Yes - The patient books the appointment, you have a Pending tab on your schedule dashboard where you will be able to accept or decline appointment with a note to the patient. No - The system automatically confirms the appointment.

Pending Appointment Email Address |

Apply Default Insurance |
This option will automatially apply the patients Default Insurance you selected on their profile to apply to the appointment block. |
Hours Prior to Book |
This sets the number of hours prior to an open appointment slot that a patient can book an appointment through the portal. |
Hours Prior to Cancel Reschedule |
Set the number of hours prior to the appointment that a patient can cancel an appointment through the portal. This should be in-line with your cancellation policy. The reschedule option on the portal is based on the setting that controls cancelling appointments on the portal.

Scheduling Consent - Portal Settings
Enabled |
When enabled, the patient will be presented with a checkbox and some text asking them to confirm that they have read and understood the consent form. If the 'required' toggle is set to 'yes' below, they will not be able to continue without checking the box. |
Scheduling Consent Required |
This forces the patient to accept the consent before continuing with their booking. |
Required Every Time |
If this setting is enabled, the patient will be required to confirm their consent every time they book an appointment. If not, they will only be asked to confirm once. |
Consent Document |
Choose a PDF or MS Word document that will be displayed for patients upon consent to an appointment booking. |
Messages - Portal Settings
These sections allow to you type custom text. Be creative and welcome your patients to the portal, inform them of the services and type/quality of practitioners and services you provide or anything you would like them to know about your clinic.
You can also use your portal to tell patients about new practitioners coming on board or promotions/discounts you may be offering as well as hours of operations, stat holidays etc.
Appointment Booking Message |
This message will appear at the top of the first screen as the patient begins to book their appointment. |
Portal Login Page Message |
This message will appear on the login page, before the patient logs into their home page. |
Secure Home Page Message |
This message will appear on the home page once the patient has logged in to the portal. |
Public Book Thank You Message |
This message will appear after a person has booked an appointment without logging in. |
Secure Book Thank You Message |
This message will appear after a person has booked an appointment if they are logged in. |
Toolbar - Portal Settings
Book an Appointment |
Allow patients to book appointments through the portal. |
Documents |
Allow documents to be shared from the patient profile inside Juvonno to the patients portal. Allow patients to upload documents in the portal that will show in the patient profile inside Juvonno. |
Medical Profile |
Shows a list on the secure portal home page of the patient's outstanding invoices, and the balance owing. Patients can complete the pre-built Medical Profile forms within Juvonno before arriving at the clinic. Clinics are also able to create your own custom Intake Form to show in the patient portal. |
Programs |
Allow patients to sign up for programs inside of the portal such as 'exercise classes or yoga classes'. The programs module must be enabled. If the Moneris or Stripe payment gateway is enabled patients will be able to pay on line. |
Transactions |
Allow patients to view their invoices in the portal. If the Payment Gateway is enabled using Stripe or Moneris clients will be able to pay for invoices and programs in the portal. |
Widgets - Portal Settings
Insurance Totals |
Shows a list on the secure portal home page of the patient's insurance balances. |
Loyalty Point Balance |
Shows the current loyalty point total for the patient on the secure portal home page. This will only show if the loyalty point module is enabled. |
Outstanding Invoices |
Shows a list on the secure portal home page of the patient's outstanding invoices, and the balance owing. |
