How to Collect Patient Insurance Information on the Patient Portal

Inside your clinic's Patient Portal, your patients are able to add or update their own Health Insurance Information. In this article, you'll learn step-by-step how they can do just that.

 

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

The patient will log into your clinic's Patient Portal by entering their Username/Email Address and Password then selecting Sign in

*Note: They will need to have created an account in order to log in. If they need to create one learn How to Register in the Patient Portal

Step 2

The patient will select the button in the top right corner of the screen, then select Health Insurance

*Note: If they are using a larger device, the Health Insurance button will appear on the sidebar on the left side of the screen.

Step 3

The patient will select Add New Insurance then begin typing the Insurance Company and select the appropriate option when it appears

Step 4

The patient will fill in the remaining fields and select Save

*Note: If they select Self as Relationship to Policy Holder, their Name and Date of Birth will automatically populate using the information from their Patient Profile

 

The patient's insurance information has now been saved inside their Patient Profile in Juvonno
