You are able to manually set up a login for a patient.
Open the patient profile and go to the Portal Access tab.
Select Update Login Information.
Enter any Username or if the patient has an email address in this field and want to only change the password you can.
However the Username does not have to be the patient email address.
This option will be useful if you have more than 1 member in a family that all use the same email address for notifications.
This way the clinic can create a custom username and password.
The patient is able to log into the portal and can update their own password from within the portal if they wish.
We suggest that you try the username and password in the portal to ensure you can log in before giving it to the patient.
