How to create a submission file for Manitoba Health
You are able to access a "Rejected Claim Code List" by going to:

Manitoba Health Submission Creation
You will be using Internet Explorer as the browser as it's the only browser Manitoba Health can work with.
Make sure you have the file download is going into the correct file path on your computer or you can have it save in your downloads and then copy the download file into the Manitobahealth folder you create in your C drive.
How to create the file on your computer to save the Submission File
Click the 3 dots located in the top right corner of the browser ...
Select Downloads option if the Downloads do not have the option "Choose where downloads go" go the Settings option.
Select "Choose where downloads go"
The popup page will show you where you currently have your downloads going.
Select the "Change" button to change the location.
You want to save your Juvonno Submission Files in the C drive in a file you have created called Manitobahealth. Don't put any spaces.
Or you can have the file download into the Downloads folder and then copy and paste it into the C drive ManitobaHealth folder.
How to create the submission in Juvonno
1. Using Internet Explorer, log into Juvonno and select the Accounting tab.
2. From the Manitoba Health section, select the "Generate Submission" link.
3. Select "Create Submission".
4. Select "Print".
5. The submission file will be created and is stored under the Documents tab. The file you just created will be at the top of the documents section.
6. Click the icon to the left of the item and select "Download".
7. Select Save File and press OK.
8. Save the file on your computer in the C drive using Internet Explorer. This file would have been previously created using the instructions above.
Submission Upload - Manitoba Health Weblink Submission
- Go to theManitoba Health portal and log in.
- Press space bar and Enter.
- Enter user ID then press tab.
- Enter the password press Enter.
- Press enter again.
- Read messages on Red screen then press Enter.
- Read information on Last remittance and future remittance dates press Enter.
- At the command screen press U for Upload then press tab three times to get down to Name.
- Enter the file information to upload. See example below.

Go to the Manitoba Health portal and log in. weblink.gov.mb.ca
- Press space bar and Enter.
- Enter user ID then press tab.
- Enter the password press Enter.
- Press enter again.
- Read messages on Red screen then press Enter.
- Read information onLast remittance and future remittance datespress Enter.
- At the command screen press,P1 to printthe payment report.
Remittance Process (To parse the remittance into Juvonno)
- Login into the SIS system (Manitoba Health portal).
- Type the letter D and press Tab.
- Make sure the Drive says M.
- Make sure the file name path says “Manitoba Health”.
- Press the Tab button to get to the file name and type in REM and the month and day (ex. REM1130).
- Press Tab to get to the Extension field and type in R and the year (ex. R10).
- Press Enter.
- The file has now been downloaded to your computer.
Juvonno Process
1. Log into Juvonno and click on the Accounting tab.
2. Press the Parse Remittance button.
NOTE: PLEASE PAY CAREFUL ATTENTION TO AND FOLLOW WARNINGS.
3. In the window that opens press the "Choose File" button.
4. Then select "Send File".
5. On the left side of the window that opens up, click on Desktop or locate the MB Health file on your computer.
6. On the right side of the screen scroll down until you find the Manitoba Health folder and click on the icon.
7. Select the remittance file you just downloaded by clicking on it.
8. Press the Open button.
9. Press the Send File button.
10. The Remittance is now being applied against your outstanding claims Printing Reports.
Printing Reports
- From the Accounting tab click the Reports button.
- Then select Remittances.
- In the pop-up window ensure the Practitioner is selected and press the Create Button.
Rejected Claims & Codes
Rejection Process:
- Go to Accounting tab>Appointment claims.
- Set the Status: to Rejected
- Set your date range to ensure it covers the range the rejected claims would fall within and press Search.
- Click the blue icon to the left of the item you want to view and select Open Claim.
- Rejection codes and explanation will be found in the bottom right corner.
- Hover over the code to see why it was rejected.
- For most rejected claims they will be code 44 which is that the patient's demographics are incorrect. If this is the case click on the Edit Patient link beside their name and adjust winch ever field is incorrect. Then Save the changes.
- Now Press the Resubmit button in the bottom right corner of the screen
- When you've updated all the rejected claims go to the claims search page.
- When the next submission is sent these claims will automatically be resubmitted.
- If you are unsure as to why a claim has been rejected you can print the Query form for the claim by clicking on the Query form link in the left side of the claim screen below the patient demographics.
NOTE: If you have had an entire submission rejected due to 1 or 2 bad claims, fix those 2 claims then delete the submission which will set all the claims back to new and they will be submitted in the next batch.
Delete a submission
- Go toAccounting>Claim Submissions.
- Only delete a file you have not submitted. Hover over the submission you want to delete and select delete. You can now start over.
Go to Accounting>Generate Submission.
